Here’s the history of Coca-Cola:
- Pemberton’s French Wine Coca (cocaine wine) is invented
- Inventor removes the wine (prohibition) and calls it Coca-Cola
- Inventor removes the cocaine (prohibition) and people still buy it.
There’s a business lesson here but I’m not sure what it is.

I like this article so much I e-mailed the link. Simple but very true.
Wow, I love your jacket! Is that custom tailored? What is that cut called?
Business Lesson: If they still buy it for the sugar, it’s the sugar, baby!
Well it’s like the other Atlanta icon, Home Depot. Back when Robert Nardelli started as CEO, It used to be called Home Invasion AIDS Depot. No I’m just kidding, Bob Nardelli is awesome and sad, lonely Larry Craigsters can still mingle with illegal aliens in their bathrooms.
Dude, you’re the man~ and next time you’re in ATL you have to drop by the most notorious bar in all of America, “The Clermont Lounge” for karaoke and lap dances from 300 pound 90 year old strippers.
